Anne of Green Gables

I think most of the fandom refuses to acknowledge the third movie. I loved the first two, though they did condense the books a little. But that was fine, in my opinion, because the books contained some repetition of themes and they captured the spirit of the books perfectly.

I personally couldn't get into the most recent Anne with an Eadaptation. The story doesn't need to be darker or more realistic. I don't think they'll ever top the Megan Followes version.

What third movie? Doesn't even count because it isn't an adaption. And totally messed with the timeline. The first two movies are great, though. Just rewatched them recently. And I recently reread the books as well. I also agree on Anne with an E. Only made it a few episode in. Not good.

Haha, exactly. I remember getting all excited about it and seeing my favorite characters again and then... that happened.
