Seconding this incredibly hard. I'm a die-hard shipper, but only for slow burn romances. If it's not slow burn I probably don't ship it. So in general the canonical MCU romances don't do much for me.

The one MCU canon pairing I generally like is Tony/Pepper, but I think it works for me because even though they are practically together after the first movie, they worked together for years beforehand. So their relationship kind of was a slow burn, we just weren't there to see it.

But when it comes to pairings I could actually see myself really shipping, they're all non-canonical, because yeah, the canon MCU ships feels rushed, and, as another poster said, algorithmic.
