Yeah, I was going to say. Legacies has a tribrid! And it's great. The point I'm making here is, everyone watch Legacies.

Yeah, I disagree with OP's opinion that it signals a lack of creativity. At least in TVD verse, the writers put thought into the mythology of how/why it would happen and what this unique creature would be like.

I understand wanting a diversity of creatures, but I think it's valid to enjoy new spins on popular creatures, too.
