y e a h even my doc was pretty "yeah I know it's stupid" about it, so at least some of the current generation of professionals aren't totally gross about it. her only suggestion was to ask other women in my family when they noticed changes to see if there's some kind of family history but those are exactly the people who refuse to talk about such things, even with family. I didn't find out about the number of them who had breast cancer until literally last year when at this age it's sort of something i need to know.
