Re: health question for older women

I assume, though, that you wouldn't taunt other women about that for other reasons than "chose to not have children?" Would you say this to an lifelong-infertile woman? A trans woman? A woman who has tragically outlived her children?

Yeah, I'm sitting here squinting real hard at the implications that a lack of fertility somehow makes someone unfeminine because that's pretty damn insulting to the people you just listed.

I don't think this is what OP meant. We can hold values for ourselves whilst not judging others by them. Mental health is a good example. When my friends have depression I see someone who has become ill and needs help. But when I've suffered with depression my mind likes to castigate me with how I'm a failure and a burden. Never think those things about anyone else, just me. I think it's easier to be rational, calmer and kinder to others than it is about ourselves.

Don't assume someone's attitude to others based on their relationship with their own bodies.

Maybe if that’s what OP meant, they should have left other infertile women (and women whose children have died. Seriously, OP, WTF is wrong with you?) out of their argument all together. But they didn’t, so here we are.

My bad, I missed that comment obviously. Seems like someone was trolling, because wtf.
