I'm going to a picnic!

OOoo, have fun. I had to take my car in to the shop. My oil spill cap had come loose and was dragging. Ended up being there for three hours. Had my tires balanced as well. Now I'm home and about to take a nap.

My father and his girlfriend are passing by and staying the night. She's super cranky and I really want to ask him if she's always so nasty with him. Every word out of her mouth is a complaint and she's can't even ask him to turn up the sound of the TV without criticising him. If she'd been doing that at work, it'd be a harassment issue for sure, but how to explain to a sixtysomething man that her behaviour to him qualifies as abusive.

Went to have my wisdom teeth removed and now I'm sitting on the bed doing nothing and not talking so writting is the only way I can communicate. You're my only friends now, F!S.

Ahh, I'm still recovering from having my wisdom teeth removed... Not a fun experience, at all.

Working on this dang zebra and listening to a podcast.

What do yall think of these colors? Going to be striped that light blue and black the whole way. My nephew wanted a blue/black/green zebra.

Heh, that's pretty eye-catching. I was expecting a monochrome zebra! My two pennyworth - yes, I'd go for the lighter blue and black, and maybe use the green for mane and tail? The green and black stripes tend to merge, though that could just be a trick of the camera.

Oh no, there are no green stripes. :p I do plan on using green for the mane and tail. :D

Lucky. I'm going to the new Tarantino movie, just hope I can relax and enjoy it, I just got the biggest fucking electric bill of my life. PG&E fucked over Calif with the fires last year and guess who they're passing that on to? I'm cutting it VERY close and just hope I don't get an overdraft. Eurgh.

The LADWP gave me a killer bill too. I hope you enjoy(ed) the movie.

I enjoyed it a lot.

Came back from the laundromat with clean clothes! I ate dinner and finished watching The Spy on Netflix. Now I'm watching The Red Sea Diving Resort and I hope to read a bit more of Paperbacks From Hell later.

Made myself chocolate chip walnut blueberry pancakes with whipped cream.

Cleaned the turtle tank.

Weeded, mowed the lawn, did some landscaping work in a flowerbed to try to improve drainage at the back of the house.

Had a contractor come look at some stuff I need fixed.

Bought sunglasses.

Did a bunch of laundry.

Hung some art that's been sitting around since I moved a year ago.
