I think I saw something on a Sandy fansite that said the pics were taken in '07.

Well, that's the whole debate...2007 or 2008. But I've yet to see any proof that sways me. If someone spent a significant amount of time researching, I want to know what they found!

I'd take it mean that he's trying to be amicable and they've agreed to not trash each other to fans. *smile* I mean, if they're splitting up their stuff, that seems pretty final to me. But that's only my interpretation, clearly!

I heard those pics were taken on last Sandra's birthday 08/14/2008.
It's all I know.
And also Mitch Pileggi said on a interview about Jared sending postcards to Jensen from Hawai, some people say Jared went to some reshots for Friday the 13th.
And that was the reason for a lack of Sam in the episode 4.03 (In The Begining).

I find it hard to believe that with Jared's work ethic he just took a random vacation that resulted in his character being completely absent from an entire episode.

However, if they really were basically doing the common law equivalent of divorce proceedings, it makes a lot more sense to me.

I agree with you

I really think Jared was in Hawaii because he was not in the episode not the other way round. Its a little hard to believe he would have them write him out so he could go to hawaii and the episode did seem to need him not to be in it - no time passed while dean was in the past so they could not show Sam in a sub plot.

Yeah, but it's been pointed out to me that they likely owned property or had a previous arrangement, and considering they're Jared and Sandy, it makes sense that they'd settle things in person rather than by phone. *shrugs* Or maybe it was a booty call/dissolution of the relationship. I'd rather think that than imagine some kind of "I'm used to living like a rich girl, now pay my god damned rent" type of scenario, lmao.

At least they're acting like adults instead of spoiled children the way so many celebs are apt to do.

Oh, I was there when he announced it. The question isn't if they broke up...it's if they went to Maui together in 2007 or 2008. Evidence seems to point to them doing it this year, but not in order to get back together.
