WTF?!! People seriously believe that?? Wow. The ending was so beautiful, tragic, and epic that having Lelouch really be alive (despite the fact that he was, y'know, STABBED IN THE FREAKING CHEST!) would destroy the ending and, IMO, the series itself. The show ended in the most satisfying way possible, and the Spice and Wolf scenario would completely cheapen it.

If there is a 26th episode, I'm hoping it'll be an elaboration on how characters like Kallen, Nunnally, Suzaku, Nina, etc. go on with their lives. But honestly, it's not even needed. Everyone in the "epilogue" got their happy ending, all because of Lelouch's sacrifice.

It's more some people who didn't want to their Lelouch/C2 ship sink (now I'm saying SOME Lelouch/C2 fans, not all). I really hated it when they tried to make like C2 would be this broken girl and 'oh my god she can't absolutely be smiling and happy after the love of her life died like 4 months ago, she would be a empty shell!' thinking. C2 is a strong girl and knew Lelouch didn't want her to be like that.

But knowing Sunrise, they might 'revive' Lelouch for the fans. I'm hoping Taniguchi is really done with this series outside the extras for the DVDs. Lelouch's being alive and happy living with C2 in the fields for would be a smack in the face to Nunnally and Suzaku.
