122: I have both siblings that I love, and close friends. But what does that have to do with how I ship fictional characters? They're not me (often not even remotely similar), and have relationships with people who are nothing like my friends and siblings.

151: I want the reasons people think it's great or why they think it sucks before I make up my mind.

I mean, KHR is awful in the beginning; the whole first season of the anime and (most of) the first fifty or so manga chapters are incredibly boring. And then it turns around and becomes incredibly interesting and exciting instead. Very weird. Of course, the female characters are all horribly done, so far. On the other hand, many other things are original, and the plot is fascinating.

I'm confused. if you can't make up your mind after the first season of an anime and/or the first fifty chapters of a manga (and already have an opinion, it seems), what, exactly, is going to help you make it?

I'm not exactly sure what you're asking, but I've had a hard time deciding about this manga because it's so incredibly different in the beginning from what it later becomes, and also because the glaring problem with the female characters is balanced against the originality and thrill of the plot and relationships between the main characters.

I understand that some people don't have the patience to wait so long for the story to become good, but to me it's akin to reading a whole book as opposed to just scanning the first pages to see if it's good. I know some people do that too, but I tend to want the whole story (insofar as it's possible) before I make up my mind.
