I agree. I want a She-Hulk legal show a lot. It would be incredible.

But I have no faith in Disney to make anything that I really love. The most that Disney can make, at this point, is "palatable".

Perhaps it's because they're overinvested in appealing to as broad a market as possible. They seem very reluctant to take any risks, both in a general business sense and within individual works. It's all just so very... bland? Predictable? I'm not sure how to put it, but it makes me tired.
I watched The Avengers and I was excited and wanted to know what was going to happen next. I watched Endgame and I wanted to know when it was going to end.

Yeah. "Algorithmic" is the word that I was going to use, but same basic principle.

Same! I'm hoping that because they're making so many shows, they'll let some variety in to try to cover all their demographic bases.

I think my concern is really, even if Disney adds variety, it'll basically be a different flavor of the same basic stuff. No *real* variety just a slightly different paint job.

That's extremely optimistic. Disney puts out a lot of media and they're unabashedly commercial about it. There's not much profit from going for a niche market over going for the widest audience possible. Disney reliably goes for the latter.
