It's on Y! and is a pretty common trend among the newer fans writng Reno fic on there. And it hurts my soul. A lot.

I think the trend on y! started with this fic called 'A Little Night Music' by Faestian, where Reno gets raped non-stop for a week and is hung out to dry and all the woes and shit afterwards. The fic itself is not too bad per se- it's a semi-realistic look at the subject, but manages to be bizarre at the same time. The sequel fic, which involves the sex life of the summon monsters (seriously, who wants to know about dragons giving each other blowjobs?), is massively retarded.

The author has her own fan club for the fic, which just reeks of self-importance to me, and has legions of adoring fans worshipping the ground she walks on. I don't get it, but... well. Maybe they all want the same accolades that came with writing that fic?

Well, she started the club herself. Most artists on y! who have fan followings and fanclubs for their fics start them themselves. (That had a lot of alliteration in it, didn't it?) I've been tempted to do so myself but... it seems like unnecessary self-wanking. I can masturbate in private without dragging it to the public. >:D

It's a terribly trend that everyone does on there, sadly. It's a little ... I dunno ... as you put it self-wanking. I'm 'friends' with a lot of people who do it and yeah ... I'm friends with Faestian because she seems really nice. But then everyone was all, 'Oh, look this fic was popular. You can be popular too if you write Reno getting raped.' She wasn't the first to do it, but in recent history I'm sure she was the most famous for doing it.

It just ... urgh ... gets out of hand.
