You're missing the point. The secret wouldn't be made because someone hated the character for a good reason. If the character's canon makes them hateful, that's one thing. It's when people hate characters just because other people like them that pisses me off.

Maybe I should have worded that better.

Wait, are you the person who wrote the secret or are you explaining what you think they meant? *Confused.* Either way, yeah, that changes the point entirely, and I agree with that. I just don't agree in general with people ridiculing others for feeling strongly over fandom stuff. There's of course a point where things get stupid and wanky, but I feel that people tend to get way too elitist over being too good to not take fandom stuff as srs business.
