107. I feel this way about Gurren Lagann fandom. Even aside from all the people in it who annoy me, there are plenty of perfectly nice fans who are quite enthusiastic about it...then I go to look for fanfic and zilch.

112. Me, I prefer Yuuko/Himawari. Mostly because I think Watanuki secretly ships it even though he's too embarrassed to admit it.

119. I was sure he'd come back, so what really made me sad was that they seem to have broken up in the end. Which is weird, since I never cared about the couple before. Oh well, hopefully they'll fix it up again by the time the movies are done.

128. This is why I love it when he kind of snaps and says snarky things to the media (like responding to a reporter who wouldn't stop bothering him over breakfast with, "Why can't I just eat my waffle?"). It reminds me that there's a real and sympathetic person underneath all the shiny.

Not!secret: And just because a female character doesn't fit your approved definitions of "strong," be it physically or emotionally, doesn't mean that she's a bad character.

...I do have plans to get into Eureka 7, so I expect I'll be complaining extra if the J-fandom there doesn't fill in the blanks for the English-speaking fandom.
