It was so funny, all the stuff that was covered in the first book, I compared when watching the show. "What? No, it was totally in a bedroom, not some bar! And I thought that Chuck only heard about it and didn't actually see it..."

Haha, I do that with every book that has a movie version.

But all the stuff that was new to me for the show I liked. I think it's actually very realistic character-wise...the thing with Dan's dad (lol for not remembering his name) and Lily was kinda weird...but Jenny? Oh man. I hate her so much now! Which is how I know she's IC. :D She acts just like my 15 year old cousin. "I'm grounded? I can't go out with my friends? That's not fair!! *sneaks out anyway*"

I hated Serena's bitchiness in the last episode, though >| and I wish we got to see more of Blair and Serena being friends before Serena left ;_; So that it would make more of an impact to see them fighting, you know?

Oh, and they totally cut out most of Blair's bulimia...which I kind of hated. I thought that was a major part of her character.
