Lulz, my brother plays the violin, and there's no way I'd play the same instrument as him. >__> xD It's awesome that your dad plays the cello; both my parents are practically tone deaf. D:

Dude, if I stopped play the cello for a month every time someone said it was lame, I wouldn't be playing again till I was like forty. You just ignore it.

haha, I understand that one. And he doesn't play anymore D: He really wants to take it back up again. My mom used to sort of kind of play piano...but idk, we're not really a musical family...I'm kind of the only artistic one although I would pay to hear my dad play the cello again, I really would 8D

Oh god, I know ._. I actually haven't played in...a while...moved a few months ago, and I haven't had my violin shipped to me yet...plus, I have four housemates and am shy about playing when people can hear ;____; but I miss it so much.
