Does anyone call Spinel irredeemable? I've yet to see anyone who doesn't love her and think she did nothing wrong.

I like her too but it's almost weirding me out how universally obsessed with her people are.

TBH i wonder if the pro-Spinel push isn't, at least in part, a response to what Rebecca Sugar herself said she was like? For all Spinel's flaws, she can't be boiled down to "ridiculous and toxic" in its entirety; it's kind of a pushback to what people see as a fundamental disconnect between author intent and character actuality.
