Eh, I think Steven was her wanting to put the best thing she could do into the world. She was under no illusions as to Steven being her, because he isn't and never will be. She's dead. She's not coming back. She'd had her redemption arc, and it was full of tough choices and major mistakes where she took risks based on what she thought was true and her own experiences, and then found out, no, she was wrong, too late. (See: thinking the war would end when she was gone because, hey, none of them actually gave a shit about her, but then they actually grieved but she still wanted jack all to do with her abusive family.)

Very true. Pink had a real problem with thinking ahead. She probably did think the mess would end if she stopped existing. And now Steven's left to clean up that mess. I still don't think Pink's a psychopath or anything, just someone with flaws who made some bad decisions.
