Not a good night. Woke up at 6:30 so I could finish work on a case. Then turned out I needed some more info from the office, so had to wait. Finally finished the case an hour ago. Too late for a nap. Just waiting for dinner so I can go to bed.

I've had to sit here ALLL day to wait for my mother's medication that MUST be signed for.

IT STILL ISN'T HERE.

I hope I don't have to wait until tomorrow, I want to see Ad Astra.

I still feel like dog shit. I was awful on Monday but Tuesday/Wednesday seemed better but now I am back to feeling awful. :( So I mostly just tried to survive work.

Dang, sorry everyone who had a bad day. It'll get better.

I’m trying to study, but everyone’s being hella loud and the walls are thin. And yet they still wonder why I prefer to study late at night.

Doing a round of editing on a fic and then laundry and maybe watching some Inuyasha?

Had takeout pizza for dinner, and dates for dessert.
Hope everyone who is feeling down is doing better eventually.

My day was actually pretty good. I had a custom piece of jewelry made, and it came UPS today. I was lucky that I was off work, too, bc I had to sign for the delivery. But anyway, I'm thrilled with it; I got a mani-pedi this afternoon and it looks nice with my new ring! Right now I'm waiting for Thursday night football to start, but it doesn't sound like the best matchup (Titans at Jaguars) so I might check out Houston at Tulane instead.

The MOCA people came and put insulation in the outer walls of my front room and the Monstrous Bebe's bedroom. I *thought* they would finish off the kitchen and two other rooms today, but no - they're going to finish the walls on Monday.

So my house is a dusty, topsy-turvey mess, with everything in the middle of the rooms and all the art and such taken off the walls and.... I am not touching it until next week (other than to clean my filthy windows) because..... *flails*

Windows open and air off because of the dust, too, so today was VERY VERY HOT AND GROSS.

I worked from 6am to 2pm. I've spent the next 5 hours being overwhelmed by how much I still have to do to move to a new place and off and on procrastinating (like now) and being productive. How am I ever going to finish sorting, packing, and moving 20 years worth of accumulated stuff?!?!

I was off today so I stayed up until this morning and slept until the afternoon, and then I felt awful for the first couple hours I was awake so I just laid around reading and playing games on my phone...now I feel much better and wide awake, which sucks because it's 10:30 at night and I can't imagine feeling tired anytime soon and I have to get up early for work in the morning so I doubt I'll get much sleep.

I bought some yarn off Michaels. It was on clearance for $7. Each roll is over 1000yds. I got a black, white, and grey one. I will one day make a blanket with it.

Cat food and treats and a new cat carrier.

Cross stitch supplies from everythingcrossstitch.com - a first time for me, because I usually buy stuff from local craft stores, but the local ones aren't carrying what I need anymore. FWIW, it shipped quickly and I'm happy with my order. Selection is so much better than the chain craft stores!
