That utterly sucks.

Our drama teacher was very not happy with how the sports (mostly football) team got all the money and etc. He cast for talent, and we had some *amazing* talents. We went to competitions and even won the State championship for best one act. So fun!

We wanted to have a 'Thespians Club', but the school wouldn't let us call it that. It sounded 'too much like lesbians'. So Drama Club it was, heh.

also, one year they picked a play that had only male characters in it so only the boys could have parts in it and neither I nor any other girls could even try out.
