As someone who does a small podcast, and loves listening to them - I've heard people with all kinds of voices do podcasts. Including people with speech impediments or strong accents. Successful ones, too. The nice thing about podcasts is that many different people can do it.

Yes, that. As a fellow podcast lover I completely agree. It's so fun to hear all those different voices and accents.
