Huh. Is this one of the few games where you can't skip cutscenes?

(Anonymous) 2019-10-04 11:01 pm (UTC)(link)
it's one of those story driven narrative type games, watching the cutscenes is pretty much the entire point

Ah, okay. Does is have quicktime events or related stuff where you have to sit there and wait for it or could you just, idk, go and make yourself a coffee while the scene plays?

DA
I have the game on Steam, and I don't believe you can skip through cut scenes. I know there are timed choices you have to make, where not selecting a prompt will result in your character doing nothing. I can't remember if these are included in cutscenes though, it's been a while since I played the game.

The game/story kinda shits itself in the last episode anyways, so maybe you inadvertently saved yourself from disappointment?

My first thought is 'well, the Xenosaga series is NOT the game series for you if that's an issue'.

Goodness, kids today.

Step 1. Get a book.
Step 2. Mute the cutscene.
Step 3. Read your book while slamming the x button over and over randomly. Eventually it will be over.

You can't just like, look at your phone or something while the cutscene plays?
