Humiliation seems to be a squick for many people.

Me too. That is why I can't watch The Office.

I can stand most of that for The Office except Scotts Tots episode, which I skip every time. I can put up with a lot but that is my breaking point.

Same with me and Seinfeld, and some episodes of Fraiser.

Me too. It's almost physically painful for me to watch or read anything like that.

Same.

I don't know if this is backwards for me, but there's a ton of stuff that happens in shows/movies that's shown as cute/adorable, and just totally sets off my secondhand embarrassment squick because I personally would find it humiliating (like being serenaded in public, etc).

I'm the same most of the time. I don't really find any enjoyment in it, even if a character arguably deserves it.

Yes! The second-hand embarrassment is strong with me

I'm the opposite, I only like it when villains are humiliated (Or if not an outright villain, just a huge asshole)

Otherwise, I'm cringing throughout the whole thing

Ugh I hate that too.

(Anonymous) 2019-10-07 01:23 am (UTC)(link)
I love it, but only when the character deserves it.
