Right? Everything got totally wrapped up and the mom and Devon's character are suddenly happily family with the kid and no one even mentions that the husband got shot in the face! I was like, "Um... wat?"

The way he was like "I have an 8 year old" (or whatever age she was) before he even dated her mother was just weird.

And yeah, it seemed like they kind of forgot the husband ever existed after he was shot.
