See, I don't get why disagreeing with something means you think it's "wrong," at least not in fandom. It just means you disagree. You may passively disagree in a "I don't see it" way, and it may mean you have serious problems with it and/or are squicked out by it or see it as wildly out of character, but it doesn't mean you think the person who likes it is weird or sick or bad or wrong. You have different opinions. You may even dislike their opinion. That doesn't mean it has any influence on your respect for or opinion of them. (Yes, some do let that influence them, but I think most people don't.) Besides, how fun or interesting would it be if everyone always agreed?

That matches up with what I've heard about the anime/manga in general, really. I think there was just a period where some companies were taking on more than they could handle, as far as the manga went.

Oh that's such a cute icon! XD Princess Tutu is my main fandom, I just don't have many icons loaded for it right now because I normally have a huge amount of them in my account...

Oh, no, I wasn't saying that people that don't agree with me or wrong or anything! The tone of the original secret seems to be like that, which is kinda what I'm disagreeing with, I guess.

Yeah. Really, during that big boom of anime and manga popularity most companies seemed to be stretching themselves pretty thin...that's why a lot of them seem to be in trouble now, sadly. Or, at least, one of the reasons.

I don't really have a main fandom, but it's my favorite anime.

Oh, I wasn't saying you were saying that, I should have been clearer. It's just that so many people seem to approach fandom from that perspective.

I'd have more, it's just hard to be too active in very many other fandoms...Tutu's definitely my favorite anime, though.

Ooh, okay. Yeah, I agree. Honestly, I do tend to be nitpicky sometimes, but I think I try not to treat fandom too much like serious business. (Being in fandom as a kid beat it out of me. xD)
