What new tv shows have you liked/disliked?

So far I have liked All Rise, Batwoman, Bluff City Law, Pearson, and Stumptown.

I disliked Catherine the Great, which was surprising considering she's one of my favorite historical figures played by an amazing actress.

Perfect Harmony was not funny.

Evil was a toss up. I'm going to give it a few episodes, but I haven't watched episode 2 yet.

The main thing I'm looking for from Perfect Harmony is Bradley Whitford reaction gifs.

I liked e1 of Evil a lot I need to get around to episode 2

I've seen some of the gifs on tumblr. The gifs were great. Just not the show for me. Then again, I rarely like comedies. Only very, very occasionally has a comedy really clicked with me.

I watched Batwoman and I liked it a lot and I really really really want it to have a good fandom

I liked it a lot too. I loved the trailer, but then some things I heard made me nervous. But I really loved the premier.

I was a little freaked to hear the Rachel Maddow voiceover part. But the action was good, the characters were good, everything was just really solid and fun, and also they were much more upfront about the gayness than I realized they were going to be. I am curious about where they're going to go with the relationships and emotional stuff. I was a little disappointed about the ending reveal with the villain, because I was excited for a nice f/f villain ship but I can't get down with incest, but that's really small potatoes.

This is on my to-watch list, but atm there's no listed release for my country yet, which is really annoying. The same thing happened with Doom Patrol, I really wanted to watch that but it hasn't aired anywhere in my country and doesn't seem like it will, which is incredibly disappointing.

I want to watch it legally, so let me!

I liked Stumptiwn. I meant to watch Batwoman but forgot it was on. I have a family thing next Sunday so I'll have to wait for ep 3.

Perfect Harmony was not that good, but it wasn't terrible.

Carol's Second Act was pretty bad, I thought.

I'm still on the fence about Evil, but I think the first episode was better than the second - though there was an interesting conclusion on the miracle.

I really like Prodigal Son, even if they disregard a lot when it comes to realism in law and enforcement procedure - like, in an action movie sort of way.

Chernobyl. Stunningly good - probably the best TV series I've ever seen. The sense of horror, the burning sky... I was well out of the way of it, in Wales, and I still remember that feeling of doom. The series got that perfectly.

I swore I wouldn't watch anything new this year, yet somehow got sucked into Prodigal Son. It got a full 22-episode order today, so fortunately I don't have to worry about it getting cancelled for a while yet.

Okay, I might just be being paranoid, but... I just came across a fic. Not in English, under 500 words, 0 comments, 1 bookmark, about 5 kudos from logged-in users... and over 2,000 kudos from guests.
Would someone really use bots to get kudos on their very mediocre smut oneshot? Or is this one work just really bafflingly popular with a very specific subset of AO3 visitors?

Might be bots, might be a weird glitch, probably not real kudos.

This is definitely a thing that happens sometimes though.

I agree with the other anon on it being a glitch. I would think that if they were going to bot kudos, they'd try and fake a few comments/bookmarks as well.
People probably do use bots or fake accounts to boost their fics, I'd imagine. Some writers put a lot of weight their numbers, so I wouldn't be surprised if a few of them try to cheat the count.

I would love it if the kudo count on that fic was legit though, it'd be some effective brainwashing!
