For me it's also content creators but mostly fan translators for webnovels. It almost made me stop reading some translations because the translators turned out to be really obnoxious twits.
Some of them embed their twitter feed in sidebars on their translation sites, so it wasn't even a conscious decision to look their twitter account up or anything.
