Ah, right. Sticky wouldn't really make sense, I guess, I heard standard popcorn is salty in the US?
But... do people just sit there with their fingers all greasy for the bigger part of a movie?

You just don't stop eating it until you are done. Then you wipe your hands on a napkin. Also, it generally isn't THAT greasy. Popcorn is also salty. Also, if anyone wants their homemade popcorn to taste JUST like movie popcorn, buy this.

Huh. Alright, I guess I just imagined a much bigger mess re:butter on popcorn. Though I still wonder: does the popcorn stay crunchy or does it get soft when you add butter?

It stays crunchy. They don't add much fake butter on there.

Thankfully now they ask you if you want butter or not at theaters. Because I hate butter on my popcorn. I always say no butter. I like theater popcorn okay as long as they don't put the extra butter on it.
