122. I don't watch Family Guy because it isn't funny, there is only so many obscure references you can make before it gets annoying.

132. That isn't the problem I have with those people, she went to like two places in search of him, and it wasn't like she just hung onto him, she talked to him and then moved on. Not quite stalking, she didn't try to be everywhere he was nor was she creepy.

I more have a problem with people who hate her because she interferes with the gay and make her a homophobic bitch, what the hell?

I always saw Relena as kind of a normal girl with the world as her high school hallway. I didn't really think her a stalker either, just kinda normalish.

SHe also changes and grows as time goes on, what I find is people think she is who she is in the beginning and all the way through and then exaggerate her traits to the bazillionth degree.

She is actually one of the strongest characters in the entire show. I think she also does a good bit of maturing all the way through.

These same people though do the same character close mindedness with Sakura from Naruto too and she also matures as the sereies progresses, though if you talked to some people you'd think she was still the same 12 year old from chapter 3 and not the 16 year old from chapter 300 D:

The... unfortunate implication with this analogy is that it makes it seem as if Relena started out immature and had to 'get over that'. And by extension, that she really did have a 'crush at first sight'. There is nothing in the canon to support this. Gundam Wing fandom as a whole has a rather astounding attitude about how to interpret what they're seeing. In Relena's case, it seems they look at her actions and draw their own conclusions about what motivated her, thereby completely ignoring everything she says and thinks, all the expressions on her face and the external influences on her behavior.

Relena was impulsive and inexperienced, but ultimately driven by a wish to change the world for the better and stop the evils of OZ/Romefeller. Very little 'normalish' about her. But it's almost like the fans identify with her, the civilian character, as their 'guide' into the unknown GW world, only to get distracted from the plot by their RL ogling of Heero's hot ass, then to project these feelings back onto Relena, fail to realise that she isn't in any position to admire any ass while she's inside the Fourth Wall getting shot at, throw her real personality out the window and ... hate her for it? WTF?
