132. She was kind of stalkerish, but IDC, I just liked her all the more for it. Also, it's kind of understandable when all you've known is shallow sheltered rich girl crap, and then suddenly someone with intense beliefs and a sense of real purpose enters your life.

Well, they're not ignoring Kamina and Simon, though...in terms of official art, yeah, there's more Nia and Yoko stuff, not gonna deny that (and not gonna complain about it either ♥), but I've seen just as much or more actual merchandise (like, figurines, stickers, posters) for Kamina and Simon.

Obviously I have taken too much film theory.

I kind of have an issue with saying the South Park creators blatantly express their religious believes via their show (seeing as i neither of them are Mormon and in South Park canon, only Mormon's go to heaven lol)

122: Agreed. Think of shows where the hero won't kill people (or, more specifically, won't use guns). What abut shows with gay or bi characters? Shows with interracial couples. Hell, even shows with strong female characters. All of these could be argued as expressing the creators and/or writers' views.

I really don't know if what she did is really stalking, she didn't really harrass him (which to me is the major part of stalking), and save for that school visit the other ones she did have a reason other than just seeing him to find him, nor did she particularly go everywhere he went, so in my opinion. Relena, not a stalker.

Yeah, I worded it somewhat poorly, but that's why I said "kind of stalkerish" rather than "no, she's a stalker." In her case it just made me more interested in her obsessive determination; it made her seem slightly unbalanced (which I think she was) but not creepy or nasty.

It's also behavior that completely stops after Antartica, when Relena builds her own arc and has more people gathering around her, the next times that they meet are all initiated on his part, not hers.

I never did get very far past Antarctica, so I'll defer to you on this one. I keep meaning to rewatch/actually finish time.

Can GW fandom find a different word than 'stalker', please? Way to butcher both the GW canon and the English language. Try 'self-appointed detective girl' or 'vigilante'. Still not perfect, but at least not completely on the opposite side of the spectrum.
