you MONSTER. Mike and Joel are both great hosts the real bad host is the new Netflix MST3k guy

Hard same. I find Joel to be far less funny & far more annoying.

I dream of a day when Mikes and Joels live together in harmony.

I like Joel and Bill Corbett fine, but I felt like the show had a sweet spot between when Mike started and before Trace Beaulieu left.

I like all of the MST people although I had to get used to the new guys.

I have discovered that both Mike and Joel are A-OK so long as Trace and Frank are still writing and voicing. I refuse to watch anything post-Trace.

Hard agree. Joel is boring and his riffs were even more reference-based and obscure than Mike's were. Mikes reference-jokes were a bit more approachable/mainstream, so it didn't flummox a viewer that isn't completely boned up on 1980s politics or 1970s music references. Joel's prop segments were pretty funny sometimes, though.

I wish some obsessed nerd would do some statistics on this. Percentage of riffs that are esoteric references in Joel's episodes vs. Mike's.

We don't talk about Jonah.
