"for children" and "for teens/young adults" are different statements though. there's a difference between those things.

Also, I think the vast majority of popular culture, definitely the popular culture that gets turned into fandom, is pitched at young adults anyway. Harry Potter is hardly unique in this regard.

look, it's not that deep. the things you like are targeted at kids/teens. it's okay to be a grown up and like things meant for kids and teens. you're definitely not the only one.
