Bad guys who are devoted to each other are absolutely my thing. I like complex villains. They can totally be completely evil to everyone else and yet still have a strong bond with each other. My OTP is a villain pairing.

And I was always interested in the Malfoy family dynamic in Potter and firmly believed that Lucius loved his son and that the family was very close, in spite of Lucius and to a lesser extent the other two being evil and certainly having terrible viewpoints. Draco was spoiled, not abused.

Anyway, I like villains that bond with each other, whether that is romantic or not.

I’m totally down for the ‘these two are horrible people but they love each other’ type of villains as well, but it’s pretty rare. Really it speaks to my ‘they’re on the same side’ kind of thing that I require with most of my ships, whether they’re good guys or bad.

Oh it is totally rare. But it is my absolute favorite thing when it exists. "They're on the same side" works for me for villain shipping too, though. I just like villains ships because I have quite a few villain/hero ships too. But I will only obsess/OTP them when the bond is strong.
