I feel like a lot of sitcoms have at least one 'dancing' episode. Does that mean you've never watched things like Dirty Dancing or Footloose? Or does it just mean that you cringed your way through the bad-dancing/learning-to-dance parts?

I've watched them a very long time ago and that probably helped formulate my aversion to watching dancing scenes in movies! Slow dancing isn't so bad because it's mostly people swaying back and forth. It's the fast dancing or coordinated dancing scenes that get me... though I'm fine with the sort of country dance scenes in Jane Austen adaptations, now that I think about it.
