*yawn* Yeah, like there aren't nine thousand gazillion fans out there going, "OMG, I'm like totally the onliest person in the whole entire world who loves Nine/Rose and wants to kill Ten/Rose with fire!!1!!1111!!!" Ship whoever you want, go join hearts_in_time and smith_n_jones, and STFU about how oppressed you are.

...I ship neither of those, but, uh, I don't think preferring Nine/Rose to Ten/Rose is "trendy." Certainly not rare, but hardly, "trendy."

Taken a look at the fanfic lists on who_daily recently? 1/3 is Ten/Rose, another 1/3 Handy/Rose, and final 1/3 is Nine/Rose. Nine/Rose shippers are hardly an oppressed minority.

True, but a lot of those Nine/Rose shippers also tend to be Ten/Rose shippers as well. In my experience (your own may vary, of course), it's comparetavely rare to ship Nine/Rose but NOT Ten/Rose.

Now, anything old-school? That's an oppressed minority ;) (Joking, joking. But seriously, compare the old-school fic to all the Doctor/Rose on who_daily and it's just a BIT disproportionate...)
