Ha, was about to post something similar. No, dumbasses, it's not pedophilia when two consenting adults get together, regardless of the age gap. Cradlerobbing, maybe, but use the correct term FFS.

Of course, when YOU do, they assume you condone pedophilia just because you had the nerve to point out the difference between pedophilia, hebephilia, and ephebophilia. Which of course leads to people condemning ships involving two people who met at 17 and 24, even if the romance begins years later.

Well, not everyone thinks an 18 year old is an adult. Still wouldn't call it pedophilia. There is a proper term for an adult with a teenager, and pedophile isn't it.

18 is legally an adult, though. Regardless of how you personally feel about it, someone who is 18 is considered an adult under the law.

And 21 isn't much older than 18. They could be classmates in college. They could live in the same dorm. They probably watched many of the same cartoons growing up.
