I wouldn't want either of the candidates to drop dead, even if I don't support them and am voting for a lesser-known candidate. While the secret upsets me, the responses (though predictable) also upset me because I figure if he said he wanted to use the Death Note on ole McCain, no one would give a damn, and they certainly wouldn't be angry at the mods for not removing it. 9.9 It's fine to be angry with the poster's murderous sentiment, but don't be hypocritical about it.

107. I think Tutu herself is a sue, but I don't think Ahiru is a sue. She's pretty book dumb, for one thing. Her eagerness to help people out is nice, but combined with her naivte she could be taken advantage of. Also, outside of her Tutu powers she's not that good at dancing (as much as she wants to be), and she has no combat skills at all. She's dependant on Fakir for a lot of the more dangerous situations she gets into.

I don't think that "feminine", "cute" and "friendly" automatically make a character a Sue, sorry. That phrase has gotten thrown around far too much.
(That being said? I find her the least interesting of the four main characters. I still like her, but I like Fakir, Mytho and Rue more.)

142. I don't want to read stuff that's originally in English. It's not manga, it's manga style comics. If I want to read comics, I'll read something like The Sandman. Tokyopop should sell their USA manga under a separate title, in my opinion. Luckily, my local manga provider doesn't keep originally English manga on their lists, so avoiding it is easy. Return to Labyrinth is the one exception I'll read (because I'm obsessed with the film) and I don't like the comics style art in it at all. I don't mind well-drawn Korean stuff, although it annoys me that I can't read the sound effects. Anyway, part of the reason for this is that I'm studying Japanese, so I want the chance to read the original version in Japanese one day. I've also studied Japanese culture, history and such, and that's why am interested in how they are portrayed in manga and anime - USA manga obviously rides the failboat when it comes to portraying them like a native would. When I like a series I often also want doujinshi and character goods for it, and I'm more likely to find them if the series is originally in Japanese. I haven't seen any of that stuff even for my fave Korean series.
