Point is, lots of people tend to automatically dismiss girly characters as "weak", "whores", "idiotic" and/or "Mary Sues" and then latch on tomboys specifically for "not being girly". That's asinine, since it implies that having ANY kind of feminine traits degrade women into useless, stupid stereotypes that are bad examples for girls (because EVERY single female MUST be a rolemodel AND must always be under the watch of everyoen AND how DARE she fail and be human).
I think that's the point the OP was trying to make, so those are my 2 cents.
