107. I'm kinda tired of the whole whole "MC-of-a-shoujo-series-is-a-Sue!" argument anyway, since in a lot of cases, that is a trait of shoujo manga. Not always, of course, but it's a common trope itself. That's just the way some of the series work, so any complaints about it or arguments to the contrary are totally missing the point.

142. It's not really just respecting the creator's background, you know. They all do tend to have different drawing styles (I can, for most series, tell a manhwa on first glance), and a lot of them have slightly different tropes because of the cultures. And, sorry, but comics =/= graphic novels =/= manga, manhwa, OEL manga wtfever. Not in the industry, anyway; there ARE clear differences between them, and manga are nothing like most comics, comic books, or graphic novels, so filing them all under that heading would be confusing at best. =X
