1. AYRT didn’t actually say anything about “noticing injustice.”

2. Even valid and important criticism can, in some cases, become excessively negative. When a person’s valid and important criticism is alienating them even from most of the people who agree with them, that’s a red flag to me.

OP's secret includes anyone who thinks "the real world is awful" and then "brings all of the real world awfulness into their fandoms." I think that description could easily include pretty much anyone who is critical of social injustice in the real world and then also makes those same critiques about social injustice in fandom and media. And in practice, "you just want to be miserable" is absolutely something people say to dismiss critiques of social injustice.
