So if a drug addict is able to con an unethical doctor into prescribing them an opioid so they can get high, that makes it medicinal just because it was prescribed by a doctor? Your argument makes no sense.

But why not? You seem to think that whether a drug is considered medicinal or recreational is whether or not it was prescribed by a doctor, and I'm just pointing out that that's a flawed argument.
