What cute things have your pets done lately? Or do you have recent photos? Just want some animal adorableness.

I got out a new toy for my cat today. It was a long strand of felt material on a stick. She loved it. She decided she wanted to play with it near the dining room table. She was rolling around beneath the chairs, grabbing at it from between the chair legs. It was the cutest thing.

Awww. You're cat sounds adorable too. Cats playing are just the cutest.

Not cute but funny.

My (very very large) dog was in the back seat of the new car today and the car was making an alert noise for someone not wearing their seatbelt. After we double checked ours we realised the car thought the dog was an unrestrained human passenger.

Hahaha. That's hilarious. And I'm sure your large dog is very cute.

I'm literally copy-pasting the post I made the other day. I'll say it's still relevant given her friend still visits every night!

I have an inside cat, and ever since my neighbours started letting their cat outside it's been visiting pretty much every night around this time! Usually my cat's asleep on a pillow by the outside window so for a while she didn't notice, but once she did they've been playfully batting at each other through the glass AND IT IS SO CUTE!

Yup! She'll get lazy and let me put the ball on, then watch it roll off before batting it at me so I can do it again! I love her!

Does her tail also go swish swish every time? I also have an indoor cat (the big orange cat in the box somewhere down the thread) and he always gets so excited when the neighbourhood cats pop up in front of his window. No playful batting so far tho. >___

My dog just sat outside at the fence and looked up at the trees.

I asked her why and she just kept doing it.

That is funny. Because dog. That's why. Probably saw a squirrel or something.

Our cat is the first I've ever had that absolutely loves being under the bedcovers. If we're asleep he'll bop us on the nose or cheek to get us to lift the covers so he can climb in. I woke up this morning and he was passed out on my chest with his head under my chin.

That is so cute!

Dawwwww. That's adorable. He wants to be as close to you as possible. My girl wants to be in my room, but only at the foot of my bed. She will climb around a bit before settling down, but she won't sleep up higher.

My cat is not a cuddly cat. Petting is okay when he's sleepy, but he's not a lap cat (that sounds grumpy, but he's otherwise the gentlest cat I know - never uses his claws or teeth ever. I've got not a SINGLE scratch scar from him. He just pushes your hand away and looks offended when he's done being petted.)

Nonetheless he sleeps in a cardboard box at the foot of my bed every night.
It was an experiment, cause while he does have beds he uses, he always chooses a box when there is one to sleep in and one night I decided to put one on my bed to see if he'd sleep in it... and he does and it makes me melt? Idk.

My cat isn't really a lap cat either. Some petting is okay on the face, but not anywhere else, and only on the face when she wants it. She sleeps at the foot of my bed, often on top of my feet for some reason. At least the part of the night she's in here. She'll spend a good chunk of it running around playing. She doesn't like closed in spaces, though, so she wouldn't tolerate a box. She likes to climb. The highest places so far she's gotten to have been the tops of bookshelves, the mantle, the toop of my closet, and in one particularly memorable incident the top of the living room blinds (no idea how she managed to climb up that).

Aww, adorable!

Whenever I play that rubber ducky song from Sesame Street, my dog looks in the direction of the song and tilts his head at the squeaking parts. He looks so adorably confused and it makes me giggle.

Awwwww. That's adorable.

I'm watching The Little Mermaid Live and at one point when Eric's dog was barking my six month old puppy stopped crawling around the bed, sat down on her butt and started yapping at the TV until it stopped. This is the first time we've let her on the bed and she eventually decided to burrow under the covers like a tiny shark, then decided she was tired and started napping with just her head sticking out from under the sheets.

Awwwwww. That's completely adorable and sweet. Your dog sounds like a sweetheart.

My cat likes to talk to the tv too. Ours is in the living room, but one of her cat trees is near it. And especially when we're watching animal shows, she'll get very interested and perch in her tree and stare and chirp at the tv.
