I got strongarmed into signing up for a "Training Course" with Subway, which consists of 100 hours of unpaid work, which will "probably" end with a job offer. In other words, if I don't actually get a job out of this, they can just shrug and say something about my personality or whatever.
My employment agency basically forced me into it, all the while adding "Of course, we don't want to /make/ you do anything :) :) :)", and just sort of gliding over my protests. My parents are 100% against it, and I love them and appreciate their support but I also wish they'd be less angry about it, because it's just making me more stressed.

Oh yeah, and I went to the gynecologist the other day, and she told me to double some meds I'm on, lose weight, consider an IUD, consider surgery to have my endometrium scraped out, I need another fucking ultrasound, and oh yeah - still at significant risk of cancer. Yaaaaaay. At least she gave me a script for a version of the Pill that doesn't cost fucking $75.

Dude. Day one of this fucking training, get horrificlly sick, call in, and never show. Ever. Fuck 100 hours of unpaid work, that is lame as hell.

And fuck doctors who don't actually *help*.

Time to bring out the guillotine again for these pricks that think it's A Ok to screw people like that. And holy living fuck, a hundred hours to learn how to make a goddamn sandwich?!?! 100 hours unpaid training for a fast food place is total bullshit. I'm sorry the employment agency doesn't see it for bullshit and thought it would be fine to get you to do it.

This is such a first world problem, but I'm still incredibly sad that I couldn't get tickets to see MCR's reunion concert. I did have a moment yesterday where I almost bought those stupid premium tickets, but then I remembered that I would like to keep having a place to live and food to eat and hid my credit card. I really hope they announce another LA show or at least livestream the concert.

The nickel-sized patch of eczema behind my ear is not liking the onset of winter. :(

We won't have a new furnace until next week. It is going to get down to 15 this weekend. :( And it is going to cost $8,700 to replace. I won't be taking a vacation next year. (ಥ﹏ಥ)

Leaving this weekend for a trip, and I was supposed to be off work tomorrow. I planned on cleaning the house and getting my packing done and also having some time to just relax because it's been a crazy week so far. But due to some stuff that happened tonight, there's an issue I have to go in and deal with tomorrow. I don't know how long it's going to take, and I'm stressing because Friday is one of my long days and I won't be getting home until late so ideally I want to have everything done tomorrow. So I probably should at least get started on stuff tonight but I just want to go watch TV and be lazy.

Still sick. Went to the doc today. Not only does he think it is a sinus infection, but I actually managed to rupture a hole in my right eardrum from all the pressure. Joy. So will be on antibiotic for a week and am supposed to take it easy and rest and keep taking regular cold meds. No flying for a while, and have to put stuff in my ear when I shower.

I really hope I start feeling well enough tomorrow to at least get some work done. I have so much to do.

Yikes, I'm glad you did end up going to the doctor! Ruptured eardrums are nothing to mess around with.

I've fixed everything I can in my life and it's still a steaming pile of manure.

single digits and inches of snow is January 1, not November 1. This sucks.

I'm going through a "sorting my life out" period and while I've made some baby steps (working on returning to uni, looking for a new job and getting some much-needed dental stuff done) I know there's still big stuff to work on (major depression, anxiety, drug/alcohol problems) and it's scaring the fuck out of me.

I've been looking into therapy and medication and I just feel like this next year is going to be a huge scary experience and I don't have anyone to talk to about it. I've been putting it all off and I can't anymore and I know/hope I'll feel better after but I'm just really scared right now.

I think it's great that you are working on this stuff but I totally get where it's scary. Baby steps are still steps and they're good. I wish I had something more helpful to say!

I get flat tires constantly on my bike and it's basically useless to me because of it. The problem is almost always thorns but I ride it to work and there's only one way to get there so I can't change where I ride. Heavy duty tubes don't help and slime helps but not enough. I just bought a new bike and I'm thinking of selling it. (The problem started with my old bike - there are just a lot more thorns or something.) I don't have a car so I'll have to walk to work. This sucks.

My fucking ankle/sciatica/bone spur/whatever the fuck this is. I hate it. I'm sure it's because I haven't been moving around as much. But I need to move around if I'm going to heal. I might go back to the doctor if this shit doesn't improve.
