They still claim to be "childhood friends" and go out of their way to make it seem like they're not brothers. They'll say things like "well, when I was a kid, my family did x" and the other will chime in with "oh, my family did y" or something like "I don't know how it was in your family, but in mine, ____" like they have two completely different families. It's just...weird.
