This, exactly. If not, then everyone who watches the show is abnormal (because you wouldn't keep watching if it ticked you off that he's getting away with it). And, while I, for one, am not the epitome of normal, I doubt it's because I love Dexter.

That's exactly what I was thinking too! The series wants you to feel for Dexter, so it's not really something one should question their morality over.

i wish they'd get rid of rita though. she's totally screwing everything up.

To be honest, I really liked her in Season 1, probably because she helped Dexter with the sexxing thing. I'm only half-way in Season 2 now, but I hope I won't end up hating her D:
