152. Except she's not a Mary Sue at all? She's really smart, sure she's pretty but so is everyone in anime, and the hottest guys in school like her because that's sort of the point of the anime. She doesn't do anything annoying or ridiculous and has her own character instead of being an empty shell for people to project upon. She's more normal than anybody else in that series.

153. If she was running about slutting around she'd do it awesomely. I wouldn't call her "A slut" but I think it's fair to say that Rangiku is fairly pro-sex and has no problem going after guys (or girls!) she's interested in.

152. THANK YOU. I'm a bit surprised how many people are agreeing with this secret, honestly. Haruhi's one of my favorite female protagonists (and how many MALE characters have those aforementioned traits but don't get called Gary Stus? Honestly, now). Just because the Host Club have flamboyant personalities doesn't mean she doesn't have a personality; it's just more understated, has subtler nuances to it, and I personally think her view of gender is expressed in such a nonchalant way, one that's so normal for her, that differs her from a lot of heroines. Everyone goes on about how easy it is to project onto her yet..I don't at all see it. I don't know of many people that have claimed to relate to her.

*relate to her in the Mary-Sue sense where they can project themselves so fully and so easily, rather.

I can't relate to her at all and I tend to assume that the people who say they can are just engaging in some wishful thinking. Not many people come from that kind of background and have that kind of a drive that renders them oblivious to all else.

Besides, people will project onto the girl whether or not she's a Mary Sue, and then start criticizing her and calling her a mary sue when she makes it hard to continue.. That's a complicated thought, so I'll just shake my fist at Avatar fandom and call it a day.

I always interpreted them as scars. I mean, I guess tattoos would make more sense 'cause of the symmetry, but... He's a Turk, Turks get scars... And that's a really fucking weird tattoo choice, even for Reno.

I think she'd definitely go after who she wants to go after, I just don't think she jumps into bed with people for the hell of it.

Yeah. I don't think she's got some weridly insatiable sexual appetite either.

People always characterize girls with big boobs as being slutty.
