The person who picked the image and the person who wrote the text are not the same person

Also call me crazy but I feel like 'leaving the terrorist organisation you joined as a teenager and risking your life to bring it down' is actually, just possibly, somewhat laudable.

That's certainly an interpretation. I don't know that we ever saw him renounce the ideology or express remorse for anything other than his part in Lily's death. He wanted revenge against Voldemort, but I don't buy him as some reformed revolutionary. His vendetta was personal.

His vendetta was personal.

Oh, so good deeds only matter if the motive is pure. Cool, cool.

The idea that the intention of your action plays some part in determining how it should be morally judged is not exactly unheard of, or novel

He's also still an adult bullying children, which makes his redemption at least incomplete.

ayrt

He wasn't out feeding the poor. He was trying to murder someone. Just because the someone was horrible doesn't make him virtuous. For all we know he agreed completely with 99 out of 100 fucking terrible things Voldemort did. Taking exception to the 1 doesn't mean he deserves a fucking biscuit.

What? Wait, are you... are you saying that trying to kill Voldemort is a bad thing? Because if that's not what you're saying, please try again.

Lol. How did you even get that out of what I said.

(Anonymous) 2019-11-10 12:11 am (UTC)(link)
My dude, all you said was 'he was trying to murder someone'. That's about as fucking vague as you can get - and given your response to a request for clarification was to make fun of someone for not understanding your incoherence, I'm just gonna assume you're a troll and peace out.
