I'm with you, OP. But after a moment's thought about why I felt so strongly, I realized that their connection was one of the few emotional connections in the new SW movies that really clicked with me, and frankly, healthy emotional connections in this franchise are rare and poorly developed when they occur. I wish there was more substance to Finn and Rose's developing romance, too.
