Yes, and the author caused a kerfluffle by claiming to have "invented" it a while back as part of a plagarism argument. It came up here a bit. I saw it on writing twitter. But the whole thing happened on facebook.

I think she even calls her series Omega Verse. It's romance. Fairly sure on Wattpad and Indie published.

People weren't amused obviously. Sure, go ahead, your characters are copyrighted sure. but not A/B/O dynamics and she definitely didn't invent it or the common tropes. It happened around the time people were trying to copyright singular words like "cocky" so, it was one of those "oh, no. You don't." Then copypaste cris happened. It's been a HELL of a year in copyright/trademark/plagarism areas of original IP.
