The issue is: They use that threat on the show for people who are only suspects at that point and in quite a few cases they turned out to be innocent. So yeah, idk, maybe don't threaten people with rape of you don't know for sure if they're actually rapists themselves just to coerce a potentially false confession? That's just fucked up.
