I think my fav. part about this all is that there's a number of points where you get to pick his reaction to her and, sure, they're all fairly dismissive but it's like 'eh' or 'I'll be a douchebag' to her.

Even as a kid I picked the most jerk options for him to say to her and ugh, it just makes everything so much worse when he decides he loves her. NO YOU DON'T SQUALL, IT'S OKAY.

But, yes. The game's romance was terrible. TERRIBLE.
